The Venice Conservatoire Benedetto Marcello, in collaboration with the non-profit organization VER-V, presents the final concert of the international call dedicated to electroacoustic music, Confini - Call for Electroacoustic Chamber Music. As part of the 2021 academic projects of the Conservatoire, Confini expanded the educational and artistic offer for those students and teachers who have decided to collaborate by performing the winning works.
The organization VER-V, founded by former students of the Conservatoire, has collected contributions from all over the globe: the United States, China, Japan, Israel, United Kingdom, Italy and several other European countries. The compositions have been evaluated by a jury composed by Claudio Ambrosini (Venetian composer, Golden Lion at the Venice Music Biennale), Paolo Zavagna and Giorgio Klauer (Electronic music teachers at the Venice Conservatoire), Giovanni Sparano (Venetian composer), Michele Deiana and Riccardo Sellan (Composers and co-founders of the non-profit organization VER-V),
finally arriving at a shortlist
of 2 winners and 3 honourable mentions.
